Hello everyone! I am so excited to begin my 1st year as a Professional School Counselor at McCombs Middle School. The past 2 years I have worked as a therapist doing Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy for students with autism. I just moved to Des Moines from Dubuque and am so excited to explore the area. I am always outside doing things like running, kayaking, boating, fishing, and hiking! I love to eat spicy snacks like Takis, buffalo wings, and cream cheese stuffed jalapenos. It makes me so happy to meet new people and I am a huge advocate for inclusivity and practicing grace!

Hi everyone! This is my 1st year as a Professional School Counselor at McCombs Middle School! I taught literacy for the last six years both at Cedar Rapids Community Schools and ADM Community Schools. I made the transition because I am a big advocate for mental health awareness and enjoy supporting students on a deeper level than the classroom allows! Traveling is my favorite hobby along with reading, biking, hiking, and playing with my dog, Jameson! My favorite family traditions are pizza Sundays and trying out different ice cream shops around town.
